From pixels to a little world.
The making of Milk & Mix ↓Where it all started.
Before the 3D factory and café, Milk & Mix was a tiny pixel-art drink factory. A simple idea — mix, pour, and find the perfect fill — became the starting point for this little world.

THE STORY BEHIND MILK & MIX
It started with
milk and chocolate.
My daughter wanted to mix milk and chocolate milk. That small idea became a game, and the game grew into Milk & Mix — a cozy café filled with layered drinks, boba, toppings, and a little bunny personality.
The project has evolved from a tiny drink factory into a 3D café. It is an ongoing exploration of the whole experience: how pouring feels, how recipes read, and how a warm visual world can make a simple action enjoyable.
A LITTLE STUDIO. A FAMILY BEGINNING.
Her imagination. Our beginning.
I founded doghouse pixels as a home for my independent games. Milk & Mix began with my daughter’s wish to mix drinks, and she helped give the studio its identity, too.
At two years old, she would arrange her hair ties and tell me, “This is a logo.” I turned one of her creations into the doghouse pixels logo, keeping her shapes and colours. A little piece of her imagination is now part of every game I make.
The creative direction.
I shape the concept, visual direction, interface, and player experience — making the choices that give the game its personality.
Build, play, refine.
AI tools support development and iteration. I use playable versions to explore ideas, adjust details, and keep improving how the game feels.
